Overview

The GE Healthcare UX team needed to expand its team to help contribute and expedite the launch of the MVP design system.

Product Challenge

When I started my contract role with the UX team at GE Healthcare, 70%-80% of the design system components had already been designed, tested, validated, and developed. My challenge was to get familiar with the existing patterns and foundations so that I would have the understanding and knowledge to build upon the existing pattern's components like Date Picker, Date Range, Notifications Queue, and Popover.

The objective

Needed to solve for consistency and abide by the already defined patterns and guidelines for the Notifications component for both light and dark themes and responsive.
